  • Performed Latent Tuberculosis Infection Testing Outsourcing Project from Military Manpower Administration​

  • Established Latent Tuberculosis Infection Testing Center​

  • Received Biosafety Level 3 (BL3) Certification for the research facility​

  • Acquired ISO 9001 accreditation for Quality Management System of tuberculosis bacteriological testing and media production​

  • Relocated the Korean Institute of Tuberculosis to Osong Life Science Complex (Osong-eup, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do)​

  • Acquired ISO 9001 accreditation for Quality Management System of the Mycobacterium Resource Center​

  • Held an international conference of the International Tuberculosis Surveillance and Research Unit (TSRU)​
